Keith Gerhartz

Keith is responsible for GIS related operations, research and management. He has eighteen years of experience in the applied geosciences. He is the past GIS Manager for the City of Orlando, Florida where he managed an internal service bureau that provided analytics and mapping support Citywide. He was also responsible for data automation and management and GIS software application development while he was employed with the City.

Keith established Gerhartz & Associates, Inc. in January of 2000 as a GIS consultancy and MapGorilla as a business subunit in 2004.

Keith holds a BS in Geography and an MS in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

MapGorilla is a trademarked brand that is owned by Gerhartz & Associates, Inc.

Gerhartz & Associates provides planning, due diligence and economic development services whereas MapGorilla provides data gathering, research, geographic analysis and mapping services. Together, the two entities provide wide spectrum support to a variety of clients including real estate interests; governmental and quasi-governmental agencies; retailers; service providers, etc.

All projects are completed by seasoned professionals that are directly supervised by a principal in our company, not junior-level staff or subcontractors. This demonstrates our commitment to quality and personalized service.
